Unlike my inspirations, the work in this series uses clay and glazes that are dark, rich, textured and variable, to emphasize their materiality and handmade qualities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eAll pots are hand built using pinch-pots and coils. They are made with mid-temperature stoneware and fired in an electric kiln to cone 6.
