About the Work in this Show:
"I spent the first portion of the year testing countless glaze combinations containing a particular material rich in calcium. The resulting ‘scent of the pine’ glaze has a demure softness and depth, and pulls the underglaze line in a beautiful way. The ‘yellow butterfly’ glaze has an inner glow with a constellation of speckles. These two new glazes have expanded my world during the interim time as I build the new wood-fired kiln."
