We’re thrilled to share a rare chance to collect pre-loved works by Charlie Olson. These one-of-a-kind porcelain pieces were thoughtfully displayed in a private collection and have never been used—now ready to bring beauty and joy to new homes.

Olson’s practice is a study in elegant, minimal forms and richly layered glaze surfaces. While technically functional, many pieces gently stretch the boundaries of utility, favoring a sculptural presence. Over more than five decades, he has pursued glaze chemistry with uncommon rigor—testing over 2,000 variations and refining a studio palette of 25 glazes. Olson is Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin.
