Solo Show: Samuel Thompson, April 10th 2026

   "This body of work I am presenting for my solo show at ClayAkar is primarily inspired by the Bauhaus movement, whose core objective was a radical reimagining of the material world to reflect a unity across all the arts.

   Drawing from this philosophy, I aim to create a synthesis of utilitarian craft and modern geometric design, expressed through hand-painted surfaces and form. Each piece takes direct inspiration from Bauhaus design posters, reinterpreted through varied shapes and color palettes.
