This special exhibition features 40 ceramic works by local artist Shumpei Yamaki. The collection includes both wheel-thrown functional ware and hand-built sculptures. A highlight of the show is Shumpei's new series of Anagama Red Glazed Pottery—each piece fired for 100 hours in his Anagama wood kiln, creating rich, natural surfaces.
Also included are a selection of Shumpei’s finely detailed ceramic dinosaurs. Drawing from his background in paleontology, Shumpei brings lifelike presence and character to these miniature hand-built forms.
