ARTIST STATEMENT
Tested at the tables of the bon vivant, my work is sturdy and elegant-made to stand up to the rigors of daily use, and be beautiful while doing so.
My aim as a maker is to engage the user and offer a slow reveal of lovely unexpected places. I leave parts of the pot unglazed and polished, or textured for a tactile experience. Hand drawn lines converge with fluid glaze for visual intrigue. Exquisite patterns wrap the form with line and color making them a delight to use.
