Concrete war monuments, decaying military hospitals, tall yellow grass, all coalesce as a combined caricature that acquires a new peculiar personality. I look to my past, my peoples’ past and try to create an object that memorialises what is still in decay.

Childhood memories resonate with my creativity into fantastical realities. Nothing and no one goes unnoticed, and nothing escapes my sketchbook. Feelings of pleasure, excitement, and fear urge me to filter through past experiences and bring them to life.

The sculptures are pure pleasure combined with absurdity and represent me as much as what I love and repel

Jewelry

Subtle surface variation, simple formes and beauty of raw clay coalesce as a combined form, to create interesting objects that are pleasing to the eye and comfortable to wear.

For my jewellery, I try to pay attention to detail. For inspiration, I think about geometry, and for my surfaces, I pay close consideration to the relationship between a shiny and matt finish. When I use glaze I allow it to move in the kiln in order to soften the sharp geometrical lines of the jewellery forms.
