I love the creative synergy at play when I’m in the studio. While the process is sometimes deliberate, the most productive moments are those in which I let go and immerse myself in the process of making. On these occasions thoughts are channeled through my hands, effortlessly, free from technical constraints. The interaction between self, tools, clay and environment becomes an expression of a larger intellectual and physical need.
