Wheel thrown and altered stoneware, glazed with an ash glaze, high fired in reduction. Some items have small glaze holes, plates are food safe.

Made 1968-85, artist stamp obscured by glaze but side ways oval indicates year.

This cherished, one-of-a-kind piece was displayed in a private collection in our very own Iowa City, Iowa. Pieces in this collection were originally acquired from Clary Illian directly at the beginning of her ceramics career. Pieces have been in use, all are in excellent condition.
